Service Overview

Reliable records of what was built

As-built drawings document the final installed condition of a project, including changes made after the original design documents were issued. They are important for facility maintenance, alterations, renovation planning, asset documentation and future coordination.

Structural Drafting India prepares CAD-based as-built drawings from client-provided records. Depending on the project, those inputs may include original DWG files, PDFs, field redlines, measured survey information, approved revisions, site photographs and technical comments. Our role is to organize and draft that supplied information into clear, reviewable record drawing packages.

Important: We do not independently survey or certify site conditions through this drafting service. The client or authorized design professional remains responsible for verifying field measurements, design decisions and final approval.

What We Deliver

As-built drawing and CAD documentation capabilities

Services are selected according to the project scope, source-file quality, required drawing standards and review responsibilities.

Structural as-built drawings

Updates to grids, framing layouts, structural member locations, foundations and relevant details based on verified construction records.

Architectural record drawings

Plans, sections, elevations and layout updates reflecting client-verified built conditions and approved change information.

Redline and revision incorporation

Transfer field markups, RFIs and approved changes into coordinated CAD drawings with visible revision references.

PDF, scan and sketch to CAD

Recreate or update editable drawings from legible PDF files, scanned plans and marked-up reference material.

DWG and PDF deliverable packages

Organize sheets, annotations, title blocks and file naming to match an agreed output specification.

Record-model support

Where appropriate, assist with model updates based on verified inputs; models are not represented as independently surveyed as-built conditions.

Project Inputs

What we need from your team

The quality of the final drawing package depends on the completeness and reliability of the underlying project records. We identify ambiguous or missing information for client clarification instead of silently assuming the built condition.

  • Original construction drawings in DWG, PDF or comparable formats
  • Site-verified dimensions, surveys or measurement notes, where available
  • Approved redlines, RFIs, field instructions and design revisions
  • Existing title block, CAD layers, symbols and drafting standards
  • Expected sheet list, delivery format and revision conventions
  • Named client reviewer for resolving outstanding discrepancies

How We Work

From project records to review-ready drawings

Our drafting workflow is organized around defined inputs, documented revisions and client review—not unsupported assumptions about site conditions.

Review source records

Check supplied files, drawing register, available markups and project-specific standards.

Update CAD documentation

Incorporate verified changes and coordinate related sheets, details and annotations.

Check discrepancies

Flag conflicting measurements, unclear changes and missing approvals for client resolution.

Submit for review

Deliver organized drawings and incorporate agreed review comments into the final package.
